In July, T-Mobile will launch its “T-Satellite” program in partnership with Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite internet service. The wealthiest person in the world stands to gain billions from this deal.
He has already spent nearly half a billion dollars to elect politicians who support cutting programs that help working people — so the very rich can pay fewer taxes 🤬
To top it off, T-Mobile and Musk both have a history of retaliating against workers for organizing.
Here's the deal: Musk is using the influence he bought to try to siphon public funds from high-quality broadband built by CWA union members into Starlink. Our communities need more good union jobs and high-speed fiber internet, not unreliable satellite internet.
