🚫 National Anti-ICE General Strike — Jan. 30
Last Friday marked one of the largest coordinated actions in recent memory: a national shutdown called “No work. No school. No shopping.” to oppose deportation and federal immigration enforcement. Protesters shut down workplaces, walked out of schools, and closed businesses in hundreds of cities.

📍 Mass Mobilizations

  • Minneapolis: Tens of thousands marched in freezing conditions demanding ICE withdrawal and justice after the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renée Nicole Good.

  • New York City: Thousands took the streets chanting “Abolish ICE!” and linking local immigrant rights to nationwide struggle.

  • Across the U.S.: Demonstrators rallied in cities from LA to DC in solidarity with immigrant communities and against federal overreach.
